330 ml bottle. Almost clear dark golden body with a fine tan head. Aroma is quite malty with some citric fruit, but the fruit is not really dominating here. Flavor is sweet and smooth malty, caramel, citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Fine, balanced body and nice malty aftertaste with some fruit and bitterness. Didnít check the date on this bottle, but assume it might be a bit old as it has such little bitterness compared with the version from Haandbryggeriet. It tasted more like an American pale ale than IPA, that said the malt flavor is very smooth, soft and nice, a bit sweet maybe but still in balance.

Bottle at Tuulensuu. Total Gusher. Hazy amber color, huge off-white head. Yeasty aroma, some veggie notes and dried fruits. Medium-bodied. Dark fruits, rainsin, yeast, hops and alcohol. Warming. More like dark Belgian ale than IPA.

Bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip, ABV 7% GUSHER! Pours a murky dark orange brown beer, with huge off-white head, froathy, with average retention. Lots of lacing left on the glass. Big chunks of yeast resting on the bottom of the glass. Aroma of nuts, malts, light red fruits, very yeasty. Taste of nuts, grains, red fruits, bitter on the aftertaste but tolerable, light alcohol. Medium body, lots of carbonation, dry palate. Ok this tasted and looked more like a Belgian ale and not an IPA, and the fact it gushed so bad didnít help itís case.

Slightly hazy amber with enormous head, very hard to pour. Earthy, alcohol, sour fruits, sweet and roasted malts, cardboard, piny hops. Medium bodied with massive carbonation. Strange and way over-carbonated.

Yellow with quite large head. Aroma is very hoppy with hints of pink grapefruit. Taste is similar to this aroma.

Bottle from Bier Tempel. Poured a murky brownish colour, not much head. Was expecting a hop bomb but this is actually a far more balanced beer. Some toffeeish biscuity malt. Balanced hops, bitterness comes through in waves. Very pleasant in an Old World sort of way, Iíd love to have a case of these knocking around.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. This is my second attempt at rating this beer. First attempt I was given a dark brown pour that was clearly not what others were rating. This one pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have floral, herbal and light resiny hops with caramel malt that is slightly toasted. Fairly disappointed in this. The dark brown beer was better.

Taster on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Clear orange amber color. Thin khaki head. Couple dots and short bits of lace. Medium to bigger body, sort of slick. Light carbonation. Caramel malts are prominent here. Lightly piney hops noticeable, more so in the finish. Some hints of citrus. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Itís OK, but if this is how belgians do an IPA, I have to say I much prefer the American way of doing it. Iíll chalk this up to it being a less than fresh keg.

Draft sample. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and earthy aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where surpassed.
