330ml bottle (Brevinga BB, Riga) - Amarillo version
Very sweet, toffee-ish, slightly sharp aroma. Could it be strawberry? Childrens sweeties definitely present in force, maybe the sharpness is more orange zesty? Tons of caramel in the retronasals. Also in the taste, this is way too sweet. But very very tasty. Nice mix of hops, there’s some nice fresh citrussyness at the front, but a good sticky resin bitterness.at the back. Something crisper about it, but thinner, without any crap - I got some hint of butter, but adding a minuscule amount gives way more body, and provides the almonds. More crap gives more fullness, more toffee. Something about this tells me it’s not a great beer, I’m not getting any particular highlights from it - but by goodness it’s wonderfully drinkable and I really enjoy every drop.

Cloudy brown color, average sized off white head. Aroma is malty, fruity with some hop notes. Not exactly your usual IPA aroma. Taste is also malty with lots of oranges, figs, spices (cinnamon & coriander). More sweet than bitter, I would say. Body is medium to full and carbonation is average. Interesting and definitely good.

ghendrix (121) - Cardiff, WALES - DEC 11, 2014
Bottle, pours orange-brown, hazy, huge carbonation, lost some to the table, but tall cream head is the result. Aromas of sweet fruits, pine, grass, grapes, caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light-medium bitter. Lively and round mouthfeel, medium body. Alcohol doesn’t feature in the tasting, which is impressive. A good brew, pity it exploded so violently out the bottle.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, smörkola, grapefrukt, belgisk jäst, mörkt bröd med toner av trä och tropisk frukt. Rund och len, lagom sötma, fin beska.
