Sat with our kid and Sim and the legendary Tom in the Craft Beer Co, London somewhere. Pretty much clear gold with a decent lasting white head. Really blew me away this did, not sure Iíve had anything like this (thatís anywhere near as good I mean) or if I have itís been a long while. Itís a lager drinkerís dream! Iím not scared of a lager, this is a shining light in a sea of shite. Ace stuff.

Keg at BD. Great imp pils. Very welcoming malts, great balance between hoppy fruits and dryness. The booze is integrated particularly well and sits in the middle just fine, before creating a soft welcoming pillow for the dry end. Pretty much the best strong lager Iíve had.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught @ Bishops Arms Folkungagatan.
App: Clear golden amber, big fluffy off white head, spotted lacings.
Aroma: Sweet fruity aroma with honey, grassy herbal hops, rye, mango and oranges, a hint of butter.
Taste: Sweet with honey, grapefruit, oranges, mango and some mint. Smooth caramelly and toasty malts with a piney bitterness at the end.
Palate: Medium to bigger body with soft low carbonation and oily texture.
Overall: One of the better beers of the style Iíve had. Sweet, fruity, round and with a sting of butter and piney/herbal hops. Struise almost never fails.
