Is an outstanding cloudy blond beer, unflitered and unpasteurized. It has a great round taste and a fine hoparoma. This blond beer has a dry aftertaste with a nice freshness in the end. De Struise Brouwers brewing @ Deca Brewery in Woesten-Vleteren.

Pours a slightly darker gold than pils with a big white head that stays on the top and laces very nicely on the glass. Aroma is of Struise yeast which is spicy slightly sour, and seems to leave its mark on any beer made with it, along with a pils type of maltiness. Flavor was sour, slightly spicy, and pretty dry. Mouthfeel is medium light, with pretty active carbonation. Quite an enjoyable and drinkable beer with some complexity.

Bottled. Hazy orange coloue with big white fluffy head. A lot of preassure when opening the bottle. Aroma is quite sour wheat and grass along with some notes of vegetables. Actually, the first thhing that came to my mind was rabbitpiss... After having a rabbit for 8 years, something did apparently stay in my mind... Flavour is wheat, yeast, hops and some fruity notes. Also some flowery notes. Very wellbalanced brew, and really refreshing as for the taste.

Light and resfreshing yet unique and flavorful blonde ale. 33 cL pours light golden color with sparse, white head. Somewhat farmy, mostly lemony aroma. Beer is lemony, dry with a wave of mild bitterness that arrives late and lasts. Low carbonation, a little thin. Light body. Refreshing, quaffable, interesting.

33 cl bottle at KBF Poperinge. Pours a slight hazy orange golden beer with thick white head. Aroma is filled of hops, fruits, citrus and some floral notes. The taste is very malty, quite hoppy, to sweeten out very fruity afterwards. The finish is slight hoppy.

Hiss. WOOSH! Splosh. CURSE! Wipe wipe. Wipe. Sell-by 04/10. Beware. The bottle label and review above use the words nice, original, fresh, complex, fine, pure, elegant, outstanding & great. Judging the little of the beer that wasn’t on my carpet, I would just use the one word, average.

Bottle@Delirium, Brussels. Overflowing out of the bottle. Cloudy orange, smallish offwhite head. Intense fruity aroma with pears and apples as well as honey. Spiced fruit flavours, hints of coriander. Again some honey. An interesting Belgian blond ale.

Hazy bloody grapefruit, lively head (slight gusher). Serious and also aromatic grainy aroma. Lively on the tongue. Sweet fruit-juicy - dark berries - taste. Not like a wittekerke rose, but a similar kind of fruit/malt balance. Too sweet - like UK ’refreshers’ sweets. Pretty OK, though. Sadly lacking in hops.

330ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Pinky-yellow, cloudy, light fizzy head. Fruity aroma, mixed with bile. Sweet malty taste, fairly bitter. Leaves both in the finish. A little bit alcoholic, even at 6%, which is a shame.

Bottle @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Yellow/orange hazy with a thick white head. Aroma of thick malty mustyness, with some peach. Very fruity taste, citrus and perhaps cinnamon. Good, long finish. Moss..?
