50cl bottle. Dark brown with medium, tanned head. Nose : spices, coffee beans, marzipan, nuts, cocoa, toffee, vanilla, dry wine, sour cherry. Sip : creamy and oily, thick body with light carbonation. Sweet and spicy. Booze is warming. Strong notes of wine or porto wine. Spicy and sweet continue to cover until the end. It’s more of a desert to enjoy sip by sip. Really nice though.

Bottle... Pours murky and brown with a tiny, off-white head. Decent retention. The aroma features spicy phenols galore, along with some roastiness. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is bitter, ashy and spicy with a suggestion of acidity. Lengthy, burnt, painfully bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a deep brown, near-black body with a large bubbly off-white head. Nose is caramel, toffee, red fruits, raisins, port wine, hints of chocolate, rum, wood and licorice. Taste is licorice, wood, burnt toast, raisins, port wine, alcohol and hints of coffee and caramel. Medium body, high carbonation. Very intriguing and complex stout with a nice barrel touch, elegant and complex. Highly likable.

Bottle shared at craft clerko. Picked up at the Brewery. Dark black / caramel brown coloured pour with a lasting tan head. Aroma is really nice struise yeast plum and apricot fruit, dark malts, dried fruits, little toasted coconut. Flavour is composed of nutty dark malts, little coconut, little milky, dark dried fruits. Palate is medium full, velvety on the tongue, moderately carbonated. I like this.
