Bottle from the ACBF 2012. Pours hazy yellow, homogenic with the yeast. Tangy, sour fruity nose, little bit of weedsmell. Flavor is fine sour and mild bitter, its not very complex but OK for this ABV. I would have liked the hop a bit more pronounced.

Flesje 33cl tht nov-2016 op 7°C. Bijna helder geel/oranje met stevig schuim. Aroma's: Gras, gist en hop. Smaak is stevig voor de 5%. Mooie hop bitters en gist. Koolzuur gemiddeld, precies goed. Afdronk bitter en lang met een peper bite en een klein vleugje metaal in het begin. Een bier dat heel goed in balans is.

A good Belgian blond with some spiceness and herbal nose and tasting. A Struise is never a bad choise.

In short: A yeasty and moderately hoppy Belgian blonde ale lacking sparks. Just ok.
How: Bottle 330ml, consumed fresh a few days after purchase, almost 1.5 year before expiration date.
The look: Shinning peach color body topped by a persistent medium off-white head.
In long: Nose is very yeasty, wort, sweaty hops, fresh grass. Foamy mouthfeel with a very lively typical belgian ale carbonation. A strange array of flavors. I noted wort, canned peaches, wet grass, whip cream, a certain hoppy fruitiness. Easy to drink even if not really refreshing. Not bad but just not my type of beer. Just another beer that I can rate, writing beer ratings is just one of my hobby, my other hobbies are sitting on the toilet and making people wonder if I write beer ratings while sitting on the toilet.

Session blonde with Motuecha hops. Off-white, sticky head, hazy golden blonde colour. Aroma of peach, bread, orange peel, green apple, vanilla, melon, field flowers; accessible yet treacherous complex palate, relatively sharp carbo, dry fruitiness, vivid spiciness, bready malt sweetishness in the background, spicy finish with refreshing grassy hops. If only all the top-fermented session blondes were like this.

A good pacific saison, nothing incredible but with a nice hoppy exotic punch, sweet but balanced when young, good body and soft carbonation.

Lichttroebel blond, mooie plakkerige kraag die tot het einde blijft. Ruikt moutig, wat sinaasappel. Behoorlijk bittere smaak, wat gistig, bloemig.
