3.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 Definitely what a quad should be but missing a tiny bit of the spice/heavy hitting I like. It so smooth I could get in trouble. Sweetness is light and the malt is very balanced. Tap

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Equilibratissima.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Quite intense maltiness, light caramel, light yeast, dried fruits, light toasty character. Feels bit sharp. Moderate to intense sweetness, light bitterness
Definitely big beer, but quite a standard with nothing surprising. Thou highly enjoyable

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle at home. Dark brown with a medium off-white head with low retention. Full body with low carbonation. Quite sweet with some bitter tones. Herbs, malts, caramel, brown sugar, spices, dark chocolate and caramel. A nice full flavoured brew from De Struise, but not as special as the regular Pannepot.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
2013 vintage, 33cl bottle @ home. Pours very dark ruby brown with a large beige head. Aroma is caramel, plums, raisins, yeast and generally dark fruits. The falvour is sweet with yeasty notes and heavy on the dark fruits. The carbonation is soft, finish is balanced. To be enjoyed sipping.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2014 330ml bottle pobres in a chatice.
A: Pours a Dark amber to brown colour with a huge beige head which dissipates quickly leaving many nicel lacings. However never disappears totally leaving a thin bubbled payed on the top
S: Smell is very sweet and fruity. Mainly raisins and dates. Reminds a red wine. Absolutely delicious mix of sugar candy and Belgian yeasts. Some honey, some spices and also some hops
T: Delicious taste. Very candy and fruity. Raisins and date fruits. Sweet upfront followed by a mild bitter aftertaste. Reminds a red flemish ale, but stronger. Once again, delicious
M: Heavy creamy molasses body. Medium to low carbonation. Sweet upfront and mild bitter aftertaste
O: Absolutely drinkable beer. Struise quality. By the way, the one that I’ve drunk had Pannepeut written in the label, and not Pannepøt like the one in the photo...

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle, vintage 2008, enjoyed six years after bottling. Pours brown with a small reddish hue, and a finger thick creamy mocha head. Aroma is tremendously nice and malty with chocolate and nuts, as well as kandi, coffee and muscovado. Full creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is just incredible! Enormously complex, yet simply balanced to perfection. The roasted malts have chocolate, oak and leather notes, as well as nice dark fruits giving way to oaky wood and coffee in the finish.
