Darker in color then I expected decent head. The nose was dark fruits... Taste was also dark fruits, spices, vanilla/oak from the ageing. Creamy texture, a little over carbonated but well balanced. Easy to drink and I enjoyed it but it wasnt as good as the original pannepot. Thanks brad, for the brew! plovmand (676), Helsinge, Denmark Oct 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark brown with a dense long lasting beige creamy head. Ripe fruit, caramel, spices and balsamico in aroma. Creamy body. Flavour is very fruity and vinous and it contains notes of vanilla, prunes, spices and a bit very pleasant sourness. Great beer indeed. Aroma is balsamic vinegar, mixed fruit and brown sugar, inviting murky brown, small tan head. A complexity of flavours, a few being raisins, pitfruits, pomegranates, loads of malt. Medium bodied, sour/tart, dry, yet oh so drinkable, most satisfying. Scrumptious!
