Bottle shared at the Struise Farm with Urbain, Mesandsim and Duff. Can I really detect apple on the aroma? Yes I can. Mouthfeel is quite thick in the mouth which is great. It has the original Pannepot characteristics, but with additional flavours and complexity. Cola and apple aroma. I had the chance on the Saturday after ZBF to have a session drinking regular and Reserva Pannepot at The Kulminator and I must admit that the regular is my favourite. It has all the flavours and complexity and character from a beer that I want. At this very high end of world class beer making, it really does just come down to personal taste. Oh and I ended up having 4 or 5 bottles of the regular in one night.

Oct 10, 2008 Bottle, vintage 2005. Very dark brown with a small stable, creamy beige head. Vinous, roasted coffee and chocolate aroma, vanilla oak in rich portions. Vinous flavours, good roasted bitterness, tart fruit, some chocolate. State of the art.

Oct 8, 2008 Bottle thanks to GMCC2181, thanks! Poured brown with nice cream colored head. Aroma was oak, vanilla. spice, and raisins. Taste is fruity, oak, spice, and rich in flavor. finished nice and was enjoyable, with lots of carbonation. a nice beer.

Oct 8, 2008 Bottle (05) from brad. Cheers! Darker in color then I expected decent head. The nose was dark fruits... Taste was also dark fruits, spices, vanilla/oak from the ageing. Creamy texture, a little over carbonated but well balanced. Easy to drink and I enjoyed it but it wasnt as good as the original pannepot. Thanks brad, for the brew!

Oct 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark brown with a dense long lasting beige creamy head. Ripe fruit, caramel, spices and balsamico in aroma. Creamy body. Flavour is very fruity and vinous and it contains notes of vanilla, prunes, spices and a bit very pleasant sourness. Great beer indeed.

Aroma is balsamic vinegar, mixed fruit and brown sugar, inviting murky brown, small tan head. A complexity of flavours, a few being raisins, pitfruits, pomegranates, loads of malt. Medium bodied, sour/tart, dry, yet oh so drinkable, most satisfying. Scrumptious!
