COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Vintage 2005"
Our PGR has aged for 24 months on oak barrels and has been bottled for the first time on the 27th of December 2007. The main difference with the Pannepot Reserva is that PGR matured the last ten months on Calvados oak barrels, adding extra complexity to the beer. We dedicate this beer as a tribute to Jeppe & Michael of Ølbutikken in Denmark. Those gentlemen were the first to discover our beers on an International basis back in 2004 and are responsable somehow for our beers being all over the globe since then. As a token of gratitude towards Jeppe & Michael, the first shipment of PGR was scheduled to Ølbutikken so they could be the first to launch its commercialisation.

Bottle 2008 vintage. Bought this some time ago and have only just got around to drinking it. The wait was worth it. Dark brown with a small head.Lovely port like flavour with a gentle creaminess running through it. Amazingly smooth for its strength-wanted the bottle to last forever. Brilliant.

Vintage 2005 Muddy dark brow and little reddish pour with a brown head. aroma of roasted malts, caramel, red fruit, raisins, liquorice, dark ryebread and herbs/spices. Taste is roasted malts, sugar, caramel, red fruit, spices/herbs, yeast and even some chocolate leading to a dry and woody finish. Really deep and complex...just lovely!

1st rating in a long time. Gotta hit the Pannepots! I love these. Sweet and bit of tart. Lightly fizzy with tart bite out back. Love these beers.

33 cl bottle from Etre Gourmet. 2008 Vintage. Pours almost black with a small brown creamy head. Leaves a nice lacing. Excellent aroma of figs, raisins, plums, roasted malts, dark bread, chocolate, dark coffee and some eartly notes. Perfect balanced. Flavour is the same with new flavors for each zip. Wood and smoke notes as well. Very creamy, and alcohol notes is nowhere to be found. Low bitterness, creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation, long chocolate finish with some sweet notes. Extremely well produced and aged beer. 2008 vintage. Enjoyed October 16, 2011 Poured from a chilled bottle into a narrow 25cL de Struise goblet. Rich, dark amber - nearly black, with minimal head and no lacing. Nose is extremely rich with roast malt, chocolate, and coffee. Chocolate and coffee are even more present on first taste, with rich dark chocolate taking over soon after sipping. On second sip, dried fruits become apparent. Extremely complex, almost spicy on the palate. As it warms, dark nuts and wood smoke come forward even more, both in taste and nose. Very smooth mouthfeel and goes doen easy for such a high ABV, dark beer. Further warming reveals the alcohol, and lots of peppery spiciness. Dark chocolate stays present the whole time. Slight hints of malt sweetness start to keep through near the end. Phenomenal beer!

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Brum. Wowee. Magnificent. So smooth - the burnished caramelised medicinal bitters are creeping, balanced and lip smacking. Easy drinking. Fabulous.

Clear dark ruby red colour, tan head. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, malts, chocolate, apple sauce, light madeira and raisins. Sweet malty flavour, chocolate, caramel, light bitter, coffee with milk, raisins and notes of Pedro Ximinez. Full body, finish cacao, raisins, lingering sweet sherry.
Lovely beer!!

2008 bottle Grand Reserva ’Vintage’ 33 cl ("Limited edition of 30HI / 2 year") purchased in Brussels. This one is a bit too old. Aroma and flavor is somewhat flat. Light oxidation is evident. Oak is character nearly gone, but finish is somewhat brandy-like. Either handled improperly, or a bit past its prime. I can taste the potential, though - wish I had it a year ago!

2008 Vintage - Pours a dark red-brown color with minimal head. The aroma is tight. Sweet, but not overly complex. I thought maybe it was too cold, but it never opened as it warmed. On the palate however, the beer is quite interesting. Raisins, cola, caramel, and stewed apples make for a decadent treat. The barrel is only minimally evident.

2008-vintage. Bryggekunst.
