COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pannepøt (read Pannepeut) is a beer specially brewed and named as a wink to the Danish market presented at the Danish beer festival ’Københavnske Øldage 2006’ exclusively at Ølbutikkens stand. It is produced to express the brewers gratitude to all the Danish beer amateurs that drink their products daily. Pannepøt has later been available on draught and bottles at bars and shops in Belgium & Denmark. Since winter 2006, this beer’s popularity kept growing in Belgium at such a level that the production today equals Pannepot.

Big frothy head. Aroma is a light, almost dull combination of candied sugar, spice, cinnamon, and dough - still quite pleasant. Flavor is consistent with the aroma with raisin, caramel, sweet malt, and a blunt alcohol tingle on the finish. Smooth and light feel in the mouth. Damn tasty but nowhere near the glory of the Reserva.

Relatively subtle aroma of raisin and other dried fruits. Very complex taste with similar hints as the aroma as well as blackberries, which stays as a long-lasting aftertaste. Similar to an Imperial Stout but more vinous.

2007 Bottle thanks DalzAle. Pour is brown and cloudy with a creamy kahki head. Aroma is sweet malt and red licorice. Taste is dried fruit like apricots and rasins and black licorice. Palate is sticky with nice carbonation and finishs chaulky. Very good tasting beer, would like another!

Bottle (2007 label). Pours with a thinner, tan bubbly head; mahogany brown color with ruby highlights, and denser looking. Very raisiny aromas, bit of toffee, and pretty sweet overall. Tastes mirror the aroma to a degree with sweet raisins, rich maltiness, bittersweet chocolate almost actually. Very warming, sticky, and pretty dense. Nice nightcap.

33 cl bottle, year 2008. Pours a opaque chocolate brown with minimal head. Nose is toffee, dark fruits, molasses and alcohol. Palate is sweet with raisins, brown sugar, vanilla and a touch of salty chocolate in the finish. Lighter mouth feel.

Nice red berries on the nose.I was expecting a bit more complexity. Good length and quite a lot of residual sugars. Not bad but not great.
