On tap at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. From my notes, this should be a wine and bourbon barreled version, but I could have mixed that up. Hazy orange body with an off-white rim. Fruity, spicy Belgian ale yeast, bourbon, rock sugar and vinuous notes on the nose. Complex and most inviting aroma. Full bodied. Heavy sweet, alco warm, fruity. Dry tongue. Wonderful.

Draft @ BBF’12 Cloudy orange amber, off-white head. It’s like a good barley wine with some additional orange fruits. Good full-bodied and nicely soft carbonated beer.

Tap @ Borefts 2012. Pale amber color. Peach, apricot, applem melon. Just a bunch of fruits in the aroma. Malty sweet, alcoholic, oaky flavor, rather Calvados -like.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 1, 2012
On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. A dense, off-white head of finger-thick size sits on top of a clear, dark golden body. The aroma has a nice Bourbon touch, some vanilla, and a sweetish fruityness and a faint spiced hint. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor both initially and in the finish, with spice hints, vanilla, Bourbon and some sugar. Not much alcohol, but there’s some warmth in the mouth, full body and pleasant carbonation. I normally don’t appreciate Bourbon barrel ageing, but this was a nice one. 120511

Hazy amber color with an off-white head. Sweet sugar aroma with a lot of caramel, dark fruit, and toffee. A touch of metal, some banana, and sweet vanilla. The flavor is a bit on the boozy side. Bourbon, vanilla, and sweet caramel notes along with some dark fruit and banana. Some metal on the finish, too.
