Bottle from Beermerchants. Pours deep copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, spices and yeast. Taste is light sweet spicy malts, medium bodied.A bit boring and one dimentional.

Pours copper color with a medium head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, some malts, sugary notes and yeast. Flavor of ripe fruits, caramel malts, yeast, some dark berries and spice notes. Not so pleasant.

April 2013 - room temp bottle. 2011 bottle. No head, orange brown colour. Smells a bit like vimto or something similar and a bit of apple. Slightly foamy in mouth. Not much flavour up front, just malty with some spice, ends with raisins.

Amber with a small beige head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, apples, berries, forest floor. Low carbonation. Taste is sweet and nutty with pronounced spices and slight sourness. A little bit of chocolate. Mildly bitter and dry finish. Slight but charming.

Beautiful opaque amber/red color with low head, oriented in sweet taste with classic "dubbel" beer notes, liquorice touch, caramel malt... Very good beer, with low alcohol level.

At BBF. Amber-red colour with white head. Caramel, malt aroma. Malt taste with bitter finish, some fruits and sweetness.

On tap @SWBF12. Pours a dark red with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet malt, fruit, berries, nuts, yeast. Taste is also fruity and nutty. leading to a dry light bitter finish.

Licht nevelig, amberkleurig bier met witte, blijvende schuimkraag. Aroma is bloemig en kruidig, met hinten van rood fruit (bessen). Smaak is vooral bitter, met een lichte neiging naar het zure van oud bruin. Prima gebalanceerd. Medium koolzuur, niet heel veel body en een beetje waterig.
