Sour nose, some sweetness of unripe cherry and sharp fruit. Mouth is sweet and some sharpness, bit too sweet, very dry, some woodiness, little bit sour. Alright, could do with more flavour. Good though. tafkap99 (7), Aalst, Belgium does not count | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 1, 2008 slightly red. Fruit in the nose (cerises) but not in the mouth. Tastes like water. Much ado about nothing. Great expectations who are not fulfilled.... jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Bottle. High creamy good looking white head. Hazy dark orange body. Strong barley malt aroma, simple but good. Astonishingly mild and sweet barley malt flavor without much hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste. Spicy. Very good palate, like I would expect from Struise. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 16, 2008 Bottle provided by joebrew. Fruity esters on the nose: banana and pineapple. Some dry, dusty hay-like yeast. Pours a slightly viscous looking bright gold. An odd agave nectar malt presence on the tongue. Honey, bread dough and pineapple as well. Medium bodied finishing with a good dose of dusty yeast.
I think this is what I wanted to say. My notes in my phone under "palate" read as follows: "med nod fubudgeds teasty." I have no idea what the hell that means. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA
