The aroma is very fruity yet dry. There is also a woody character. The taste has good fruits, probably raspberry dominant together with a little musty sourness. Again feels wuite dry in the mouth. Lots of flavour for a Belgian beer of such a low ABV. Very nice. jbrus (4845), Delft, Netherlands
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Bottled. Aroma of grapes, raisin, dough and yeasty. Amber color, fine beige head, good lace. Sweet, raisin, cookie dough, hints of pepper and licorice. Soft and silky mouthfeel. Nice but I’m not impressed. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium

Yeasty wheaty fruitiness in the nose with some low toffee and caramel sweetness that becomes more dominant in the mouth although the yeast lingers and becomes resurgent in the finish.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2006 500ml fliptop bottle from the Biertempel, Brussels best before 06/2008: Poured cloudy orange with a big white head. Aroma is similar to the Witte with notes of apple and cantaloupe. Flavor is fruity with apple, apricot, peach, cantaloupe, some grapes and some walnuts. Drinks a lot bigger than the 5.5% listed on the bottle. Mild alchool bite in the finish. Strong carbonation and a bit dry. Good.
