Draft at Brasserie V. Hazy, murky unfiltered red. Funky, sour red berry aroma. Thick beige head. Light lactic tones and fruity sour. Relatively mild carbonation. Some cherry tones. Very mellow, easy to drink.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a murky nut brown beer with a tall creamy beige head. Nutty yeasty nose which is reminiscent of coconut, walnuts, caramel and earthy hops. Good bitterness. Medium to full bodied. Creamy palate. Yeasty finish which is slightly metallic. The yeast profile has a lot of character.

A dark brown beer with a almost medium and beige head. Aroma is fruitfull and sweet, strawberry juice, some syrup; composed and delectable aroma. Taste is dryer than aroma, some roastiness, strawberries, in the end there are drying bitterness, also some herbs in the aftertaste. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation, nicely drinkable. Interesting beer with in a sense composed flavours, but still very tastefull and enjoyable.

Bottle 33 cl had @ Birra ed Oltre (Naples, Italy). Dark and rich amber color, almost no foam and so cloudy texture. Uhm, I’ve read all those ratings and seems all different between them... anyway, don’t getting influenced, so let’s go on. Aroma is fruity (cherries mainly) but sourish and yeasty; wet flowers and chamomile, reminds me an aged Orval a little. Fruity light to medium body, but flat in the end. Low carbonation and boring finish. A little unimpressive, but honest.

Bottle from 2008. Pours copper with a large light beige nicely lacing head. Aroma of cherries, sour fruits and perfumy flowers. Fruity and tart flavor of cherries. Refreshing dry bitter finish.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, reddish amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly sugary cara-malty aroma with distinctive notes of fruit confit (dark and red berries). Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malt character with berry fruity notes; dry-out effect towards the mildly toasted and fruity finish. Balanced brew, could have had more body though. 04.X.11

Bottle 33cl, a slightly cloudy amber brown beer with low head. Nose is chocolate like and caramel; Aroma is dry with a huge maltiness on caramel, carared malt, nice bitter chocolate, some vanilla, light sourness, burnt caramel notes. Again a very pleasant beer from this brewery, creamy and full of flavor, there is a very pleasant spice I cannot determine.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy copper with a big white head. Smells and tastes sour and fruity, abit bitter sour in the finish.
