Bottle. Looks good with its red color and big creamy white head. The taste and the aroma is somewhat thin and has got misplaced notes of rotten vegtables. Strange and not very pleasant.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ClubGonzo (1732) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 14, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2010 Tasting glass at Pannepot Café @ De Struise Brouwers, Oostvleteren. Pours a slightly hazy amber body with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is roasted malts and fruity hops. Taste is grainy malts, honey melon, molasses and hints of "Belge Speciale" ale yeast. Among the Belgian amber/"speciale"-ales this is a strong contender. Drinkable and light, without having a notable loss of flavor. Overall, it’s just pretty good. Which sometimes is enough. :-)

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark amber/copper with a medium off-white head and an aroma of yeast and spices. The taste is not too sweet but mainly spicy, with notes of licorice, citrus and herbs. I don’t really like this one.
