Murkily opaque with creamy white collar. Banana-hued esters on the snout, with ginger and a sprinkle of clove. Smells like a big fruity Bavarian. Flavour earthier, with apple peel, smoky malt, caramel, a peppering of spice. Dustily fruity, malty, slightly tart, and finally dry. Misled by the nose. Nothing special. (re-rate, as ’Cuvee Mon Bijou’). As usual with Struise, 70% of the bottle spurted all over the worktop. Good riddance. What was left was undrinkable. Varnish, sickbowl and pondwater.Appalling. altonbrownd (1968), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Taste of fruits, including apples and citrus. Also a bit sour. Watery. Not one my favourites from Struise. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA

Some dry, dusty hay-like yeast. Pours a slightly viscous looking bright gold. An odd agave nectar malt presence on the tongue. Honey, bread dough and pineapple as well. Medium bodied finishing with a good dose of dusty yeast.
I think this is what I wanted to say. My notes in my phone under "palate" read as follows: "med nod fubudgeds teasty." I have no idea what the hell that means. tarjei (1762), Bryne, Norway
