Amber body, white creamy head; Big pleasant balanced nose, fresh and dry nuts as well as sweet ripe fruit like peach and apricot; Full body with a quite sharp carbonation, and an almost velvety soft texture; medium long finish, malty bitter, and only very little aroma.

Bottle. Glowy red amber packed with detritus. Murkily opaque with creamy white collar. Banana-hued esters on the snout, with ginger and a sprinkle of clove. Smells like a big fruity Bavarian. Flavour earthier, with apple peel, smoky malt, caramel, a peppering of spice. Dustily fruity, malty, slightly tart, and finally dry. Misled by the nose. Nothing special. (re-rate, as ’Cuvee Mon Bijou’). As usual with Struise, 70% of the bottle spurted all over the worktop. Good riddance. What was left was undrinkable. Varnish, sickbowl and pondwater.Appalling.

Bottle at home. Cloudy orange body. Blasting head. Taste of fruits, including apples and citrus. Also a bit sour. Watery. Not one my favourites from Struise.

Bottle provided by joebrew. Fruity esters on the nose: banana and pineapple. Some dry, dusty hay-like yeast. Pours a slightly viscous looking bright gold. An odd agave nectar malt presence on the tongue. Honey, bread dough and pineapple as well. Medium bodied finishing with a good dose of dusty yeast.

I think this is what I wanted to say. My notes in my phone under "palate" read as follows: "med nod fubudgeds teasty." I have no idea what the hell that means.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy brown colour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is malt, sour fruit and floreal. Flavor: yeast, roasted, earthy, spicy. Medium body, medium carbonation. Dry finish with some bitterness. A really good belgian ale; reminded me a great artisanal beer I drank some time ago in Milan.

bottle, dark orange/dark amber colour, nice small white and beige head, smell: typical malty, fruity. Taste: complex for a 6% beer: malty, grainy, fruity, coriander, coffee, yeasty, sugar, peach, banana. Lovely and refreshing beer. But miles away from his big brothers (pannepot/pannepeut and black albert)

Cloudy light amber color. Nice and refreshing Ale, fruity version of a wheat beer.

Bottle, 2005-02-12, 4-2-5-2-9=22
Hazy blond color. Very common Belgian Ale with no interesting peculiarity…
