pours blonde, with brown at the end. so in the glass its blonde-brown, very hazy ( you cant see anything trough it )
onley a very small , common scnet.
taste is sweet ( did they use honey?) , more carbonation than iím used to of struise, but still very nice done. thereís also a little aftertaste, sweet and bitter. not the worse beer in the genre, but there are better too...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Ar: Hoppy with a belgian touch (yeast). Ap: Hazy amber. Fla: Hoppy (american), buttery and fruity. Bitterness in aftertaste. The alcohol is very well hidden. Ov: Nice hoppy beer, a little thin in some way, itís almost too easy to drink.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Massive gusher. 2/3 of the bottle ended in my sink and on the kitchen floor. Sh*t. Pours hazy brown. Sweet aroma, flavor a bit musty and dry. Okay beer. Still pissed I only got a third of one.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
33cl bottle. 2009 vintage. Big gusher. Pours a hazy chestnut color with a huge off-white head. Aroma is stunning: funk and fruit notes all over the place with light swwet presence. Slight alcohol and bourbon in particular. Taste is extremely balanced between the yeasty and malty fruity sweet side and the woody, almost smokey, bitter side. Flavors of whiskey barrels. Finish is bitter, smooth and quite dry. Body is medium to full and carbonation is soft. Anyways, this is so fruity and refreshing itís extremely easy to drink. I donít remember last time I was so astonished by a Belgian strong. This is a real treat. If this was too sweet/boozy when released (just guessing, trying this for the first time here), than age made a superb work on it. I only wish I had more of this.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle Hazy orange body with a nice lightly yellow, creamy body. Aroma of yeast, honey, aroma hops, citrus, banana, orange, pepper, grapes, spices, ... Very complex (of spices) and well balanced aroma, but a bit subtle and not very attractive. Heavily bitter, modeately sweet flavour. Balance is very nice. Drinks easily. Dry, hoppy mouthfeel. Moderately bodied, never would have guessed it is 12% ABV, more like 8-9% (although it has a tiny bit of alcoholic mouthfeel, but never in terms of 12%).

Bottle at home. Orange coloured. Medium white head, that holds very good. Sweet fruity smell. Nice smell. Honey-fruity sweet taste. Grapefruit, citrus, caramel. Bitter aftertaste, a bit to overwhelming biterness.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Pre-ZBF. Golden color, faintly buttery-sour nose doesnít sit quite right with dank, grassy hops. Light sweetness and rather extreme, dank, sticky bitterness. Interesting but not my speed.
