3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really strong flavored IPA with its own charteristics. Nice, dark golden color with a decent head on top. Fairly aromatic and really bitter taste and finish. I love it every now and then but it has not made it to my cellar for repeated sessions. Good solid beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great IPA with a smooth note of spices and sweetness. Leave it to Struise to add a special touch to a very familiar style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 0.33l from Dranken Geers Gent. Pours dark orange almost brown with sediment and a beige head. Aroma is rather malty with rye. Taste is surprisingly not the IPA that I was expecting. Not very hoppy or bitter, no fruit. More malt, caramel and sweetness. I like the taste but not an IPA for me. Strange.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ugly brown body, huge white head. Aroma has sweet caramel and some herbal hops. Flavour is bit thin, dark resiny hoppiness, some yeast and caramel. Overaged?

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2013 Bottle from Craft beer Co online shop. A hazy amber coloured pour with a healthy off white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, caramel, bitter/sweet, slightly malty. Wouldn’t call this an IPA but pretty good stuff anyway.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330 ml bottle. L 15/12/2011. BB 31/05/2014. From bierzwerg.de.
The colour is ugly brown colour with a huge frothy off-white head.
The aroma is hoppy but I guess it’s not fresh anymore.
The flavour is hops, moderate bitterness, over aged malt, some sweetness and mild yeastiness. This might have been much fresher some time ago.

Bottle. Pours opaque, murky, dark auburnish orange-amber with a large and stylish, beige head. Aroma is fruity, lightly metallic, floral. Taste begins with somewhat pithy and caramelly, even dark breadiness. Maybe a loaf of rye bread? Some fermented fruit, herbalness and spiciness. Light touch of oat too. Quite smooth really. Aftertaste is dry with light pith, more of rye loaf. Stingy and quite full. Not the IPA I was expecting, but still enjoyable.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: poured a murky brown with a tan/beige head. Aroma is light hops. Bitter hops forward that melds with a sweet caramel malt. Leaves that old beer taste finish.

33CL Bottle at home, dark amber coloured beer, light aroma of hops, taste is light bitter but not very IPA’ish like i’ve had before in IPA’s... still a very decent beer.
