Floral bitter aromas. Somewhat flat texture. Rather accessible IPA. Smooth. Nice lingering bitterness.

Pours a very dark amber colour with a huge off white head. Impossibly to pour at once. And when giving it a second try big white parts of yeast fill the glass. Too bad. Not a very hoppy aroma hardly any fruit, only some spices. Taste likewise. Only mild bitterness. No fruit. Some yeast and something medicinal. Rather dry. Body and carbo are fine. Disappointing beer.

Bottle. Clear amber with a large tan head. Aroma is jam sweet citrus hop. Flavour is again quite sweet, a gentle bitter hop that leads into quite a decent bitter palate.

Bottled 33cl. Rather yeasty with caramel throughout. Strong carbonation. I didn’t enjoy this IPA all that much. Dissapointing.

Pours a ruby amber colour with a white head. Aroma of bread, apricot and grassy hops. Flavour of grassy hops, apricot, floral notes, metals and yeast. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a bitter, slightly sweet finish. Way past it’s prime, old hops and sweet fruitiness.

Aroma is stale gooseberry bush, honey, biscuits and soapy notes. Flavour is stale with gooseberry bush, metal, biscuits, nettles and some caramel. Soapy citrus and some fruit candy at the end of the glass. Not very IPA‐like, most likely too old bottle.

Pours clear copper color with a small head. Aroma of fruits, some grass, honey, some syrup and mild hops. Flavor of fruits, caramel, toffee and mild honey notes, some hay and goose berries. Way past its prime, some odd flavors here.

Bottled on 15/12/2011 - Pours dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of stingy spicy notes, caramely notes, toffee, hints of malts. Taste is malty and spicy with metallic notes, hints of caramel, toffee and some grassy hops. Finish is sticky and sweet. Unbalanced, not very good.

Bottle from Chester Beer & Wine. Hazy orange pour with a generous white head. Sweet fruity nose with notes of yeast, spice and grassy hop. Flavour was similar with notes of citrus and a dry bitter finish. A bit disappointing and falls short of the usual outstanding fayre one comes to expect from Struise.

33cl bottle from Belgiuminabox.Pours a hazy amber colour with good sized head.Subdued aromas of malt and some hop with maybe a herby type smell.Tasted of malt and fruity hop and nicely balanced with it making an easy to drink nice tasting beer.
