Aroma afruitat, cítric i herbàci. Textura sedosa i maltosa. Elegantment amarga. Final llarg i agradable. Molt ben equilibrada. Es nota la finura de la casa. Molt ben feta. Una joia poc valorada.

It has a lot of different favors that get along together. So it makes one meta-flavor that’s doesn’t let you think about what is in the beer because you are to focused on enjoying it.

Pours amber with red highlights; clear, with white foam head. Freshly fruity notes, grainy, sweet and spicy. Very thin bubbles, smoothy and creamy palate. Full bodied, cereals, subtle noble hops, flowery notes. Aftertaste full of yeast and malt. Perfect balance, fantastic beer. What a freaking brewery guys. They brew the best brews: buy them all !

Bottle at First German Ratebeer gathering at Idar Oberstein courtesy of Travlr. Pine, grapefruit and toffee malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with small head. Slightly sweet caramel and bitter pine hops flavor. Nice blending. Excellent.

Very well balanced - notes of grass, also a nice malt sweetness. The hop balances this out with a dryish mouthfeel - not too much carbonation. I think the rye jumps out in the end, towards the back. I can find the oats. Perfect on a nice spring evening.

Neat and different take on an IPA. Poured at a good temperature with a voluminous, cream-colored, foamy, frothy, billowy, fluffy, textured head that just sits there and lots of clingy lace. Color is a slightly hazy amber with some particulates and oodles of extremely tiny bubble trails. Aroma is malt, hop, wet cardboard, resin, yeast. Flavor’s like nose and has a very balanced package of sweet, bitter, and tang to appreciate. It’s a little understated while delivering the goods. Body is good, although there is a mineral quality that accents some bitter & tang highpoints that are a touch coarse. Finish is like flavor, a bit boozy, and on the long side. Good beer.

8/04/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: JAN/2014 (2011-139)

Cloudy amber coloured beer, some little chunks. Creamy off-white head, non-stable, adhesive. Aroma: fruity, little floral, pineapple, ripe fruits, hops. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity, malts, citric flavours, bitter hops but still balanced, bit of caramel, some yeast. Aftertaste: dry bitterness, fruity, citric, still some sweet malts.

Bottle. Head is almost white and settles quickly. The beer is a dark, slightly hazy amber color. Aroma is yeasty and sweet. Tastes a bit malty, sweet (sugar) and some hops. Carbonation is medium, overall a pretty smooth mouthfeel. Finish has hints of sugar, smooth bitterness and a bit dry. All in all, this is a nice beer. However, not what I expect from and IPA.

Murky brown body and light tan, frothy head. Rich grapefruit aroma, residual sweetness, oatmeal cookies and more forest hops. Really nice. Quite some bitterness but fully balanced by the rich malts that provide great texture. If anything it could use even more malts, the support is there. Like a great car chassis with just too little power. Bit of a sticky ending. Very tasty, suits me well. (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution)
