UPDATED: SEP 25, 2016 Piana spora, dość gruba, mydlana, ale całkiem trwała. Barwa bursztynowa z pływającymi licznymi drobinkami drożdży. W intensywnym aromacie baaardzo przyjemna wanilia i świeży kokos, do tego jasne winogrono, białe wino, rodzynki, kandyzowane owoce, syrop klonowy, bourbon... W smaku półsłodkie, likierowe, winogronowe, generalnie powtórka tego, co w zapachu z tą różnicą, że wanilia i kokos są na finiszu, w aftertejsie. Goryczka ziołowa, pikantna, nieduża. Wysycenie średnie, drobne. Pełne, treściwe, wyklejające w odbiorze, jednocześnie pijalne i z fajnie wkomponowanym bourbonowym alkoholem, rozgrzewającym dopiero na żołądku. Co ciekawe nie czuć kolendry charakterystycznej dla tripli - może nie była dodawana?
Takie Triple to ja mógłbym pić znacznie częściej, zdecydowanie jeden z najlepszych tripli, jakie dotychczas piłem! W tym przypadku beczka w 200% zrobiła to, co do niej należy.

Bue à la pression en 12cl à l’école d’Oostvleteren. Couleur blonde/ambrée avec une mousse et une effervescence moyenne. Nez sur le bois. En bouche attaque sur la vanille le sucre, le sucre Candy très ronde en bouche.

01/06/2015 @home - 75cl bottle from a trade. Orange colour with small dissipating head. Small particles floating around. Aroma : fruity, vanilla, booze. Taste : fruits (peach, apricot, ...), vanilla, sweet bourbon nicely balanced with other tastes.

2012 keg on draft at Stumbling Monk in Seattle. Poured into glass with large bubbly head. Dark, slightly dirty golden color. Cannot see through it but it glows. The beer is slightly stale and old with a mild leafy barrel and aged golden malts (stale crust). Its sweet Belgian sugars. The esters are restrained with few banana esters. The barrel is not overpowering. Would actually like to try this fresher.

Cervesa molt cremosa i amb tocs dolços i un lleuger toc a fusta i a vainilla. Cerveza muy cremosa y con toques dulces y un ligero toque a madera y a vainilla.

75 cl bottle shared. Appearane: a quite dark golden color with a large head. head has a good retention and leaves some lacing. Aroma; some vanilla, Wood, Nice esters and spicey yeast. TAste: Sweet,vanilla, wood bourbon like with some esters and yeast and a hint of oranges as a left over from the original triple part. Full body,average carbonation Very nice brew, allthough it’s taste pattern is very dominated by the barrel allthough it does work out nicely.

Tap @ BeerMongers Christmas Eve Eve event... Poured dark brown with a retaining head. A little darker then a typical tripel. Nice esters and yeast spices on the nose. Sweet and malty with a mild alcohol presence. Bright earthy tones worked to tame the strong oak sweet notes in this one. A little drying in the end too to help balance it out.
