Draft @ Borefts 2012. Dark ruby amber with a white head. Smells of sweet bourbon, marmalade, orange peel, booze summer fruits, vanilla, honey. Taste is also sweet bourbon, vanilla, sweet creamy orange peel, summer fruits, peach, apricot, honey, vanilla, booze, sugar. Damn fine, creamy body. Some stuff here - another outstanding take on a Belgian style.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2013 on tap @ Borefts 2012 - pours clear intense yellow with a 3 finger head. Aroma’s of malt, caramel... and definitely almonds. Huge body with immersive sweetness and taste of caramel and bready maltiness. I don’t have a sweet tooth when it comes to beers, but this works out well! ------ MVG - thanks to Bryan (spdyfire83). This beer needs some ageing, very unbalanced but intensive on all palate categories... +0.1

Draft at BBF. Easily the best of the three numbered beers they brought in my opinion. Poured a hazy orange gold, medium lace and head on this beauty. Aromas were apples, pear, candy sugar, biscuit malt, and bourbon whiskey. Taste was much of the same with other notes of oak, berries, nutmeg, and peppers. Low carbonation, full bodied, and sticky mouthfeel.

On tap. Dark golden with a creamy white head. Strong stone fruit, vanilla, caramel and oak aroma. Tastes of orange and caramel up front followed by vanilla and oak and finishing with a dry, acidic but almost bitter chocolate like taste.

Bottle 750ml. The nose is bourbon, vanilla, oak, biscuity malt, yeasty spice. Appearance is pretty amber orange with a nice white head. It is a full bodied beer, with a nice carbonation. The taste is sweet malt, vanilla, caramel, jammy fruits and light honey. The aftertaste is light bitter and sweet. Alcohol in the back with a dry Finish. A great beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 750 ml, capped and a plastic cork, vintage 2012, T.H.R.E.E. aka Tangerine Heated Rare Evil Edition. Poured into a tulip, ABV 10% Very deep copper orange colour on the body with a big off-white head on top of it, thick, with bery good retention, leaving a thick wall of lacing atter it has collapsed. The body is clear, with lots of activity in it. Aroma has the usual peaches and apricots notes, but now some old wet wood too. Light yeast, vinous notes. More vinous notes on the taste, more fruity too, more intense in general. The wood is more notable too, alcohol is there but doesn’t seems to annoy, light vanilla, light bourbon. Medium thick body, notable carbonation. A great beer, worth its money.
