Pours a murky copper/honey colour with a white head. Aroma is sweet and herbal. Taste is pretty similar with a slight sour oaky finish that turns into a sweet bourbon aftertaste. Not really my jam but a rock solid beer nonetheless

Copper colored beer with a small white head, medium carbonation. Tastes fruity, oak, malt, slightly caramel, spices and raisins. Complex flavor but again very tasty.

Bottle in Saint Louis with thanks to Jim. This is a really interesting Belgian beer--I must say I liked the regular better than the reserve. But quite quaffable.

Moc i miazga!

330ml bottled July 2014 at 10%. Dark orange, hazy, highly sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma is plums, raspberry, heather honey, alcohol. Body is medium, foamy, low carbonation. Taste is sweet sugar syrup, danish pastry, a little cherry. A little too sweet for my taste. The bourbon and wood may be lurking somewhere behind the sweetness, but they’re hard to find.

Pours a brown hazy body with a medium lasting head. Rich malty aroma with barrel tones. Complex taste with malty tones of sugars and fruit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A golden red color (copper) and cloudy with a white foam, consistent and average volume. A sweet aroma of malt, wood, fruit being identified for me the pear, peach, apricots, a pleasant aroma of caramel, and of course the Bourbon. Moderately sweet taste in exact proportion, with delicious hints of malt, fruit, caramel, a beautiful Bourbon, oak and spices, and the hop bitterness is present. Woody end. Creamy texture and a bit oily.   Full-bodied with a low, soft carbonation, making it soft and very easy to drink. Very nice it, but beware of its 10% alcohol content that is very well hidden, so to speak.
