3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours deep amber ( darker than tsjeeses) nice , fine , white foam , regular sized . No real smell somehow ..
Just as i thought this was the ’ tsjeeses reserva ’ i had ( it switched every year bourbon to port)
It has some of the taste of tsjeeses , but not all . And its missing the aftertadte , THE thing that makes tsjeeses one of my favourite beers . Also no real bourbon taste . Whats left is best to be described as a wannabe tsjeeses ...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orange color with a medium head and effervescent carbonatation. Aroma is spicy sweentes with some port notes and cake. Flavor is woody with some spicy notes and a light bitter-sourness with a woody bourbon finish. Medium light body, dry finish, alcohol very well conceived, easy driking and complex.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl bottle @ home. Copper to brown color, somewhat hazy. Dense off white head with good retention. Aroma’s: sweets, sweet & sour fruit, a bit alcohol. Flavor is medium to heavy sweet, fruity. Alcoholfeel is medium to strong, body is medium. Finishes with some spiciness and lightly bitter. Nice, but the bourbon & wood is completely lost on me.

33cl Bottle, Vintage 2011, Vertical tasting with the PBA, Metallica playing on the background. Dark amber to light brown coloured beer with some medium carbonation and a large but rather fast diminishing off white head. Nice fruity light sweet hinted aroma with a far distant barrel oak hint, but only far. Full light creamy palate. Finish is rounded, bitter sweet fruity yeasty hinted with a longer bitter light alcoholic ending. Very nice. Bourbon not really on the front. Prefer it over the PBA. Nice rounded beer, but misses the bourbon hint.

Pours hazy orange brown with a thick off white head. Nose is big citrus, some vanilla, wood, leather and fruit. The taste is sweet with bitter popping in midway through and hanging around until the finish. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean, the body is heavy and the finish is long.
