Bottle @ Monks Porter House in Stockholm! at the label it stands Reserva 2010: Hazy red colour, big creamy head. Aroma was dominated of lots of sweet maltynes, and belgian fruity yeastynes, caramelly, citrus, flowery, an complexity, who can be a bit difficult to explain :-) Flavor had a nice smouth mouth feeling of sweet maltynes, fruits, caramellynes. Big body, long fruity/sweet/yeasty finish, and fantstic copmlexity in the end. Werry nice indeed!

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2013 Interesting color: kind of red/orange/brown/yellow, nice white/reddish head. The taste is also very interesting: it is very very balanced. It doesn’t have the amount of bitterness and carbonation you would expect in this style, which I really like. Combine this with the full bodied, yet not overpowering, sweetness, and you have a very great beer!

Cloudy copper colour with a big off white head. Great sweet and yeasty aroma with caramel, spices, honey, brown sugar, some wood and orange. Excellent flavour with spices and fruits (orange, kiwi, banana), honey and cereal, a small hint of whiskey. Not as potent as the other aged Tsjeeses but just as great.

Purchased from the Deca brewery. Beautifully dark colour which has clearly come from the barrels as it started as a lighter coloured beer. The BA isn’t overpowering and the lovely taste of Tsjeeses still comes through but there’s a warm and rewarding subtlety that’s all about genius brewing. Those Sturdy brewers have done us proud.

Bottle from the school house. The Tsjeeses flavor is there but the overall feel is softened - this is one good beer...

(From notes 17 Oct, 2012) Bottle. Large, fluffy white head. Hazy amber color. Aroma is spicy with cloves standing out from the crowd. Some sugar and malty sweetness. The aroma is in the neighbourhood of Belgian Christmas beers (spicy). Tastes sweet with some alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel, not much bubbles. Finish is sweet and warming.

This was sweet and smooth and overall an enjoyable beer. Will have to try the regular Reserva again for comparison.
