Bottle at home. Great Belgian Strong ale with christmas spices like ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Bourbon is barely detactable in the taste. Full body, little carbonation, alcohol very well hidden. I’m going to buy this again next year.

33cl bottle. Caramel, dates, peaches, liquorice and alcohol in the aroma. Soft carbonation and medium to full body. Taste is balanced with some sweet notes and dry finish. Overall, a fantastic digestive.

Şişe, 30/12/2014.İstanbul.(reserva 2010) Artık üretilmeyen bu Struise birası bardakta koyu kızıl ve yarı bulanık. Köpük kırık beyaz, dolgun ve kalıcı.. Görüntü çekiçi. Koku karamel, baharat, pekmez, hafif tatlılık, kuru kırmızı meyve tınıları içeriyor. Kompleks, yoğun ve derin.. Tadım gövdeli ve yine yoğun, kuru kırmızı meyveler, pekmez, baharat ve tatlılık.. Oldukça derin, damakta kalıcı ve Boğaz'dan aşağı iniş vakit alıyor.. Çok başarılı..

Another fantastic Belgian Christmas ale with seasonal spices, a bit of oak and a hint of bourbon, sweet and malty. A wonderfully tasty strong ale, easy to sink into beside a roaring fire.

Amber pour with frothy white head which lasted a while. Smells of Christmas spice and yeast but not overwhelmingly. a bit of wood and bourbon as well. Taste was much of the same but the spices were less and bourbon a bit more. Nothing was overdone and all was balanced well, sweet after dinner beer. Palate was perfect as always from Struise. loved both these beers.
