Bottled. Hazy deep orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and also has some spices and yeast with wooden hints. Flavour is fruits, spices, wood and quite strong alcoholic notes. When the yeast is poured in, some of the alcohol notes go more mellow.

330 ml bottle from michael-pollack- thanks again, Pollack! Pours a cloudy, dark orange color with some small visible yeast sediment and a big eggshell-white head that leaves some light lace. Aroma of caramel malts, Belgian yeast, orange peel, alcohol, mild spice, and oak. Flavor of apricots, caramel malts, candi sugar, Belgian yeast, oak, mild spices, and corn syrup. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, malty, sugary mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Alcohol can’t really be felt in the mouth until the aftertaste. Sweet, unique tripel.

11/1/10 from gene. hazy orange brown with a small white head. it smells spicy!... anise, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, vanilla and alcohol mixed with brown sugar, fruity tartness and plums. the palate is relatively sweet but it has a tartness and a bit of tannic drying on the finish... otherwise the flavor is the same as the aroma. thick and smooth... nice.7/4/7/3/16
