Bottle (330 ml). Vintage 2011. Small gusher. Deep amber with a medium to huge long lasting thick off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is of fruits, sweetness notes, port, spices and alcohol. Taste is moderately to heavily sweet with fruits, port, spices and alcohol. Mouthfeel is vinous, dry. Medium to heavy body. Moderate carbonation. Warming alcohol and spices.A bit too sweet, but quite complex and pleasant to drink. The barrel treatment isn’t overwhelming and give a good result.

Mild gusher. Pours murky amber with a big, staying, creamy and light fizzy off-white head. Aroma has sweet sugar, yeast, caramel sweetness, light oak. High carbonation, fine dry and oily mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, good oakiness, caramel, prunes, Belgian sugar, port. Lingering vinious, sweet and oaky dry finish. Good.

Bottle. Hazy deep copper liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma of dark fruit, raw sugar, banana, oak, bubble gum, port wine, dates, raisins and bread. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of dark fruit, raisins, banana and biscuit. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice stuff, but not a Saison in any way.

Bottle @ home. Copper colour with a big white bathfoam type head. Smells wood, malts, some chocolate, bourbon, sweet. Quite nice, even though im not a port guy. Tastes quite sweet, heavily malty, wood, some caramel, some alcohol, some liquorice, slightly roasty. Complex beer. Quite a lot of carbo, but not really bothering. Slightly warming to the throat and chest. Full body.

Bottle at home, slight gusher. Murky brown pour, thin off-white head. Aroma of yeast, ripe fruits, alcohol, licorice, spices, candi sugar, caramel and some wine. Flavor is fruity, sugary sweet and quite boozy. Still well balanced and impressive flavor. Lively carbonation.
