It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was of candied sugar some dried fruits and a hint of orange peel. The taste was similar to the aroma with booze, caramel and some woodiness. Nice.

Really nice strong belgian ale. Dark amber color with thick white head. A really nice and complex suttle aroma of dough and banana among many other things. Yummy taste with plenty of sweetness but a great deal of bitterness and sourness to ballance it out. Lots of taste.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a rosy deep brown with medium off-white head. Sweet candi sugar aroma. Taste is slick, beautiful Tsjeeses, nicely balanced with a rich fruitiness but kinda hard to get much port influence. Disappointing in that regard but still a great beer.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Wine. Pours darkly translucent orange with a creamy beige head. Aroma is mildly oxidized port with a touch of treacle/kandi. Med + body. Flavor is red berry, oak and something hinting of evergreen. With time it is possible to pick out some port.
