Bottle from Dranken Geers, February 2014, consumed at home Thursday 27th February 2014 I’d had this before but hadn’t got around to rating it. This pours hazy amber with white rim. I found the nose to be a little cheesey, texture/mouthfeel was soft in mouth. The barrel ageing was very good it had a really blitzy flavour, tangier and fruitier than expected, a little sweet perhaps but bloody good, a little juicy and even some marmalade. Very good and much better than I recalled. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

[2011] 33cl bottle. Thanks to Julien for this one. Slow gusher, pours cloudy reddish brown with a foamy off-white head. Flavors are dark fruits, spices, dough, brown sugar, toffee, caramel and wood. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sticky texture.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours unclear amber in color with a thick off-white head. Sweet ripe garden fruits, brown sugar and hints of plum liqour in aroma. A bit of marzipan sweetness, plum liqour and notes of vanilla spicyness in taste. Quite sweet ripe fruityness and note of boozy liqour in finish. Not that bad actually when ejoyed in small quantities and just a bit chilled.

Ambrée, pas vraiment le gout typique d’une triple belge. Complexe, fruité, caramel. Bien meilleur que la version bourbon.

Bottle @ Dranken Geers, Ghent. Pours cloudy dark golden with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is yeast, salt, esters and vegetables. Hot alcohol. Overhyped and overrated brewery.

330ml bottle from Bierzwerg (Vintage 2011). I like normal Tsjeeses so lets check this out.. Should take tasting with both bottles because my memory is so bad. Strong toasty aroma. Foam falls quickly and thin layer stays, copper/amber colour. Taste is strong and tasty with no alcohol. Palate is better and more long lasting than normal Tsjeeses. Apparently same score than normal Tsjeeses, PBA got better scores for aroma and worse for appearance.
