Shared a 33cl bottle from the producer. Pours a brownish golden colour with a thin off-white head/lacing. Aroma is malt, fruits and caramel. Average to high carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium bitter and medium sweet with some sour notes. Overall, a very good beer.

In Bruges beer shop. David gave me a treat with this one. Rich, with a little smoke and smooth caramel mouthfeel. Warm on a cold day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very tasty. Had the vintage 2012. Complex flavor with burned malts dark fruit and a nice mildly bitter hop finish. A bit boozy but in a nice way. Prickly soft carbonation. Do not get the port so much but that doesn?t matter. Highly recommend!

Bière ambrée foncée, trouble, beaucoup de dépot, mousse abondante et persistante. Nez de réglisse, chêne et vin. En bouche, l’amertume est faible, sucrée, on goûte le porto, alcool bien présent. Costaud. Bière complexe et très bonne.

Not entirely sure which of the three "Reservas" I had, the beer list just said "Tsjeeses Reserva 2013", and since Oak Reserva retired in ’10, and the Cherry notes on the flavor, I’m guessing it’s the port barrel version. Cloudy copper under a thin foamy off-white head. Nose is fruity and sweet, like boozy cherry meets herbal earthy honey. Flavor is big, bold, boozy and sweet. Lots of alcohol esters, honey, oak, cherry, herbal tones, and a earthy boozy finish. Not too hot, just tastes like strong ale. With honey and spices.

Bottle. Amber brown, clear. Old musky malts on nose. Clove, slight cinnamon, peppery spices. Soft, smooth body. Slight sweeet brown malts, with a clovey, herbal, finish. I’m not that sure about this one. Soft good body, flavourful. But has a murky old character from the spices and the brown malts. Feels like there’s goodness in there, but it needs to be better accentuated. The flavours feels a bit overrun by a dubbelbock- like boozyness. Like a gingerbread mixed in booze.

Bottle, 2011 vintage. Hazy dark golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is mostly yeast based with some influences of Port and red fruits. Grapes and sweet oak. Flavor has big vineous characters with oak and sweet port. Well balanced, medium sweet and very dry finish. Nice barrel treatment. Merry Christmas.

Port barrel-aged 2012 vintage, 33cl bottle from the Malting Pot (BRU/BXL respect!). Pours a deep orange, with frothy off-white head. Plum and walnut notes, a sharp bite and beautiful overall balance. More piercing than it's bourbon-barreled brethren. Good for cutting through heavy foods. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bu en bouteille de 33cl, une bière brune ave une mousse qui tient bien, en bouche c’est un suplice tellement que c’est bon, on sent beaucoup le fruit sec, le côté vineux et ça se bonnifie en prenant de la température ! Délicieux !
