La més vinosa de les versions de Tsjeeses. Segueix la tònica elegant, sutil i obra mestra. Potser la millor de la saga.

Oh I love this one! Nice deep red-brown color, great head of foam and funny bottle. The taste is nice and spicy, sweet, fruits and vanilla. Very complex but good balanced. You can find some sweet and warming port notes in it. I will get more of these for sure!!

Not entirely sure which of the three "Reservas" I had, the beer list just said "Tsjeeses Reserva 2013", and since Oak Reserva retired in ’10, and the Cherry notes on the flavor, I’m guessing it’s the port barrel version. Cloudy copper under a thin foamy off-white head. Nose is fruity and sweet, like boozy cherry meets herbal earthy honey. Flavor is big, bold, boozy and sweet. Lots of alcohol esters, honey, oak, cherry, herbal tones, and a earthy boozy finish. Not too hot, just tastes like strong ale. With honey and spices.

Pours a beautifully amber-brown colour with a creamy head. Nose has some citrus and just a hint of red wine/port. Taste gets sweet fruits, hoppy bitterness and alcohol giving it balanced complexity. Can’t really get the port in the taste.

In my opinion the best of the Tsjeeses reserva’s. Dark orange colored beer with a fruity complex aroma and flavor. Port flavors noticeable. Malty sweet taste, also alcohol warming. Again a very complex fruity flavor. Hoppy and sweet (port and alcohol) aftertaste.

Purchased at Deca brewery. Tasted on the same evening as the Tsjeeses BA Port so comparisons are hard to avoid. However, this has a beautiful amber darkness that’s genuinely beautiful. The nose is all about toffee and warm sweetness and the flavour backs this up nicely. Glad I drank it on a cold evening as this has ’winter-beer’ written all over it. More-ish and wonderfully boozy.

Hazy amber colour with a lot of nice foam. Nose of honey and spices, sweet. Taste of candysugar, spices, liquor. Warm alcoholic aftertaste. Very well balanced.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2013 Interesting color: kind of red/orange/brown/yellow, nice white/reddish head. The taste is also very interesting: it is very very balanced. It doesn’t have the amount of bitterness and carbonation you would expect in this style, which I really like. Combine this with the full bodied, yet not overpowering, sweetness, and you have a very great beer!

Nose is vanilla, honey, slight brandy, a little strawberry. Taste is vanilla, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, chirstmas pudding, cherry. At first I could not detect the port, but it emerges a few mouthfuls in giving a sticky port note amongst the spice. Finish is very peppery with a dry note. Mouthfeel is surprisingly carbonated. Leaving the alcohol so prominent is a bold choice and really works for me as a winter warmer. This is a gold standard Christmas beer.
