Bottle. Pours hazy Amber with an off-White head. Sweet plummy aroma. Booze and caramel. The flavour follows suit with lots of thick caramel sweetness. The port component is well measures. Adds a richness to the affair. Warming and delicious. I love the Tsjeeses range.

(2013 bottle) Clear copper colour and nice beige coloured head on top. Aroma has port wine, nuts and some dried fruits. Taste has sweet berries, dried fruits. You can feel the alcohol but not taste it. Full body with really high carbonation. Maybe the best edge has disappeared from this one, still an ok beer.

24.12.2014. Color is quite bright orange/red. Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, malts, oak. Tastes dry oak/wood, dried fruits, toffee. A bit too much dried fruit and oak. But ok. Not port though, only oak.

Amber body. Off-white creamy head. Aroma of alcohol (unpleasant), grapes, caramel. Moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Very complex and warming mouthfeel. Well balanced.

330ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Clear amber color. Medium size, white head, stays. Caramel, malty, alcohol, raisins in aroma. Sweet, malty, bit of dead yeast, candy cane, straw, woody in taste. Sweet plums in aftertaste. Damn it’s sweet. Carbonation is bit too high too. Boozy brew!

330ml bottle - shared by martjoobolut - thanks!
Softish sweet aroma, some gentle marzipan, a little bit of rubber and plastic. Orange, tight head. More wine than port influenced to me in the taste. Sweetish, candisugar clear. Thinned by the barrel ageing, but I prefer the heavier original for a relaxing sipper. Finish has a gentle bitter hopping, which is possibly the best bit about it. This is not a fireside sipper.

Copper orange beer, off-white head. Nose is sugary, vinous notes, malt, fruit, caramel, wood. Flavor is a smooth mix of fruit, caramel, malt. Pretty boozy finish, caramel. Port is felt rather than tasted. Nice. Shared by martjoobolut, thanks!
