COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep to orange blond abbey triple winterbeer which has been lagered for 8 months on different stonefruits. Tsjeeses was born out of a 5 year brew experience regarding x-mas beer without being capable of finding a suitable name up to now. With the name came a face, a caricature actually, that was drawn on the day Urbain, our brew master and master brewer, drank too many Tsjeeses's. Every time he drinks one, he says "Tsjeeses, what a beer". Therefore the name is more an expression of stupefaction than a curse. We have had already many discussions around the pronounciation of "Tsjeeses". Very close would be that you say "cheeses" or cheese in plural.

Bottle. Copper hazy with a thick white head. Smells of apples, caramell malts, citrus acids and sweet fruits. Taste has a fruity sweetness with much of the aroma.. Very oily feel. Almost like syrup. Finish is bitter withe some hop flavours. A good beer. A 0,35 bottle is easily shared by two people

0.33l bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a quite thick amber orange body with a thin bubbly off-white head. Nose is quite acidic - almost vinegar nose with notes of grapefruit and sweet malts and caramel. Medium bodied and low carbonation. You get some alcohol at first then some strange sour leafs before there is some herbs saying hello. Longlasting dryish aftertaste involving spices with a acidic note and citrus. Quite nice.

Spicy and sweet aroma, with lots of cinnamon. Very overwhelming (sweet) palate for a tripel, Medium body, some alcohol warm. Too much herbs are used for my taste, so drink-ability is rather low. Overall nice beer though.

Bottled in Bergen. Pours hazy yellow/golden with a big nice looking off-white creamy head. Aroma is fruity malty with notes of spices and oranges. Taste is smooth, good caramel malts, spices and citrus. Well hidden alcohol. Good beer.

Bottle at Max’s in Baltimore. Light orange/yellow hazy pour wit ha frothy white head. Aroma was honey sweet, some distinct fruit notes and a little bit of yeast character. Flavor was sweet, almost cloying, some fruit in the back and maybe a little yeast. Not great.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden orange with a small thin white head. Aroma of citrus pith, sugar, honey and a light musty earthy scent. The flavor is mostly sweet malt and sugar with a light hop bitterness and sour yeast. Medium body with mild carbonation and a lightly syrupy mouth feel. Pretty good beer, but a bit expensive.

Pours a pale golden color with considerable haze and lots of floaties. Bubbly white head dissipates to a cap and leaves minimal lace. Smells of nutmeg and cinnamon, very sweet and fruity, lots of brown sugar and dark fruits mixed with some Belgian yeast funk. Flavor is heavy on the yeasty funk side with a spicy fruitiness that finishes kind of dry. A bit of alcohol and fruit on the finish. Taste is both sweet and sour at different times. Really complex and hides the alcohol really well. Mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is ample, body is medium to thick. If this one tiny bottle wasn’t 8 bucks I would drink this more often. Great brew.
