COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep to orange blond abbey triple winterbeer which has been lagered for 8 months on different stonefruits. Tsjeeses was born out of a 5 year brew experience regarding x-mas beer without being capable of finding a suitable name up to now. With the name came a face, a caricature actually, that was drawn on the day Urbain, our brew master and master brewer, drank too many Tsjeeses's. Every time he drinks one, he says "Tsjeeses, what a beer". Therefore the name is more an expression of stupefaction than a curse. We have had already many discussions around the pronounciation of "Tsjeeses". Very close would be that you say "cheeses" or cheese in plural.

Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Rune. Gyldenbrun/appelsinfarget. Veldig uklar. Siste (fortsatt forsiktige) kvelling ga nesten gjørme i glasset. OK lavt luftig skum. Svakt krydret aroma. Fyldig munnfølelse. Sherrypreg. Litt mandler. Svakt syrlig. 0 bitterhet. Avslutter tørt & fruktig. KI=7

330 ml bottle. Dark brown colour with a slight hazy. Small white head. Soapy and spicy nose. Thick texture and a rich malty body. Dark chocolate and caramel fudge. Fairly low carbonation. Some hops and a little bitterness, but overall on the sweet side without going overboard. Notes of cinnamon and marzipan. Delicious winter ale. Love it.

Pours a cloudy amber with a light white head. Nice aroma, sweet with notes of fruit and alcohol. Taste is wonderful, balanced, and full. A very nice trippel. Thumbs up.

bottle pour at hopcat, gr mich. hazy golden body with small head. this was full of candied sugar, spice, sweet breads, and pepper...nothing overly special here, and pretty typical of a holiday or tripel...alcohol is well masked..

I enjoyed this beer. It wasn’t anything to write how about however. The aroma and taste is that of a well made belgian triple. I taste a slight difference due to the aging with fruit, it imparts a sort of lingering flavor on your tongue after swallowing. This beer hide the 10 percent alcohol incredibly well. I would buy another one if I was in the mood for a triple.

Bottle 33 cl from www.erzbierschof.ch. Beer color apricot, short foam and many floats. The fizz is continual. Smell of dough, yeast, malt, note of solvent. The taste, on the other hand, is superb, curiously spiced, thyme, ginger, candy, yeast, fruity. It’s a bit pasty, liquid bread. Beautiful bitterness of citrus and herbs, still on yeast.

33 cL bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, expiry June 2013, served in a Trappist glass. Pours hazy caramel with a small, tight off-white head. The head slowly fades to a thin cover but leaves lots of fine lace. The nose has huge aromas of fruit, candi sugar, molasses, caramel malts, a hint of spice and a nice Belgian yeast character. The flavour is sweet throughout, with lots of fruit, molasses, toffee and candi sugar. It is balanced with a touch of hops. There is also a hint of pepper towards the finish. The finish is long, with a lingering fruity maltiness. On the palate, it is medium-full in body with a smooth, creamy texture and decent carbonation. Overall, this is an excellent fruity, malty brew. A beautiful Christmas beer with a full, smooth character and lots of fruity esters. Another triumph from De Struise! I wish I had a few more bottles. 2011-01-14

Pour is a murky brown with a average white head. Aroma is some fruit esters but lots of alcohol is there for a burn. Flavor is some caramel and fruit with sugar and molasses. Not a real good tripel and I got no real spice. Expensive and overated.
