Commercial Description:
Deep to orange blond abbey triple winterbeer which has been lagered for 8 months on different stonefruits. Tsjeeses was born out of a 5 year brew experience regarding x-mas beer without being capable of finding a suitable name up to now. With the name came a face, a caricature actually, that was drawn on the day Urbain, our brew master and master brewer, drank too many Tsjeeses's. Every time he drinks one, he says "Tsjeeses, what a beer". Therefore the name is more an expression of stupefaction than a curse. We have had already many discussions around the pronounciation of "Tsjeeses". Very close would be that you say "cheeses" or cheese in plural.

Hazy golden look with a foamy white head leaving fine lazings. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of oranges, peach yeast and herbs. Full bodied and complex flavor. Sweet oranges, bitter berries and herbs with a heavy underlying alchohol thats smoothly felt. Great tripel.

300ml - 2008 TSJ #11 - Very sharp spicy nose. Strong Belgian yeast, light hops and holiday sweet bread. Pours cloudy brown with a medium head and great lacing. Lots of floaties. Flavor is breadier and not as spicy. Almost soft and delicate. Warming and comforting. Palate is sweet and spicy. A very nice cold weather holiday brew.

Shared by emacgee - thanks, Ethan! A very big, cloudy orange pour with a handsome frothy head. The aroma is quite quirky, seeming to toggle between an intensely nutty autumnal vibe and something sharper and more grapey. The yeast is spicy but strongly integrated, nothing too overpowering, just a good funky leavening. Strangely, I got a bit of maple on the finish. Weird and complex, I enjoyed this a lot.

Thanks Dan TheCheeseMan. Pours a murky very chunky golden orange with a creamy light orange head. The nose is earthy, Belgian yeast, spicy, mild alcohol, fig, honey. The flavor is spicy and earthy, nice yeast character, fruity, very upfront Belgian feel, warming alcohol, honey, citrus peel hop bitterness. The palate has a mild bitterness and warming alcohol. Very tasty tripel.

This poured a deep copper in color with a moderate white head with continual carbonation rising. The nose was filled with dough, bubblegum, spices, herbs and . In the mouth it was medium to full-bodied and concentrated with a nice balance of richness and lively carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of BOLT7555. Pours a murky apricot with a one finger white head and lots of floaters. Nose is citrus, yeast and spice. Taste is more citrus, candied sugar, bready yeast, and Belgian spice. Medium creamy mouth feel. While I don’t like overly sweet beers, I can appreciate this one. Thanks Jason!

Bottle. Pours a light orange amber with a thick white head and lots of yeasty sediment. Fruity spicy malt aroma. Malty candy sweet aroma with lots of hop bitterness. Once it warms I started getting more holiday spice and citrus in the taste. Very nice beer.

Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Bit of a gusher. Very hazy orange amber color with a transient white head. Aroma of citrus over yeasty malt. Medium plus body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is odd spice over candi with lots of yeastiness. Lighter fruits are definitely present. Finish is slightly woody and very tasty. Brilliant.
