4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
33cl in Delirium Noel glass. This is by far and away my favourite Xmas beer. Wonderful (slightly) cloudy colour with a white head. Mouthfeel is perfect and the taste is even better. Not particularly Christmassy in taste (no spices) but is perfectly balanced and just want you want after a meal. Not your typical tripel - it is much better than that. Exemplary.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
One of the best tasting heads I’ve ever tried. Brown and frothy, this is an excellent beer. Far from being too sweet like so many Belgian’s this has a great dark flavor that is really top notch. And reasonably priced to boot. Will definitely buy more of this.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20

I’m still looking for a normal beer from Struise: all I know are superb. This one reminds me of my favorite beer, Pannepot. It’s notes to raisins, nuts, caramel, wine...even its looking. Strong, overwhelming, delicious...once again, an impressive, huge, superlative beer. God (and tsjeeses) save Struise.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Interesting beer. Aroma of bready malts like a Dubbel with some fruitiness. Copper-orange color with a mild head but good carbonation. Good weighty palate as most of the beers from this brewery that I’ve been lucky enough to try. More bread-like flavors with some peach essence and spices. Well rounded and as always, impressive.
