COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep to orange blond abbey triple winterbeer which has been lagered for 8 months on different stonefruits. Tsjeeses was born out of a 5 year brew experience regarding x-mas beer without being capable of finding a suitable name up to now. With the name came a face, a caricature actually, that was drawn on the day Urbain, our brew master and master brewer, drank too many Tsjeeses's. Every time he drinks one, he says "Tsjeeses, what a beer". Therefore the name is more an expression of stupefaction than a curse. We have had already many discussions around the pronounciation of "Tsjeeses". Very close would be that you say "cheeses" or cheese in plural.

Test vom 20.10.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Pretty average all the way through. Only the carbonation is different, pretty nice to go with the 10%ABV. Medium body. Not too impressed by this brew.

11.2 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy bold orange with a small head. Aroma is quite candied for a tripel, with cotton candy, sweet candied fruits, apple, and yeast on the nose. Flavour is considerably sweet, with candied sugar, apple and pear, quite a bit of yeast and a dry, sweet finish. Sweet, uncarbonated body with a touch of acidity / sourness. Sweeter than I typically like my tripels, but this is very enjoyable.

LAHEV - Příjemná ovocná vůně, chuť různorodá od kývy až po exotické ovoce, příjemné pivo do chladných dnů na zahřátí .

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2011 Interesting - rerate of it on tap, 2009, during a beerfest while I was getting towards in the bag, and my overall score was not only the same, but so was each individual score. Glad to know I am consistent! Bottle. Sedimenty orange / light brown with biege head. Sweet malt, spices, alcohol, very sweet, belgian yeast, some fruit tang like the fruit was in the midst of fermenting. Very carbonated (not too much though), sweet with a nice tang, smooth, good sweet belgian spice finish. Delicious - would probably be best enjoyed in front of a fire over the holidays.

Bottle bought in Brugge last Christmas from the Bier Temple. A dark golden/orange coloured pour with a large off white head that fades quite quickly. Pleasant Belgian sweet, spice, malty aroma. Tastes sweet/sour, spice, caramel, malty, fruity, orange. A wonderful complex Belgian Christmas beer, Tsjeeses Christ, I love it!

Hazy orange with a big off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, yeasty and spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Smooth and soft like velvet. I have currently tried five of the top 10 tripels and this beats them all with ease. 150711
