COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Ingredients: Barley malt, hops, cane sugar, yeast and spices.
Strong blond winterbeer with fluffy white head which has been lagered for 8 months on different stonefruits. Tsjeeses was born out of a 5 year brew experience regarding x-mas beer without being capable of finding a suitable name up to now. With the name came a face, a caricature actually, that was drawn on the day Urbain, our brew master and master brewer, drank too many Tsjeeses’s. Every time he drinks one, he says "Tsjeeses, what a beer". Therefore the name is more an expression of stupefaction than a curse. We have had already many discussions around the pronounciation of "Tsjeeses". Very close would be that you say "cheeses" or cheese in plural.

2012 Bottle bought in Bierkoning, Amsterdam and consumed some time during 2013. Pours a dark brown with lots of sediment in the bottom. Turns dark amber up to the light. I love the appearance of this! Rich, sweet aroma with a similar very sweet taste. Complex! I drank this one very slowly and enjoyed every drop. Can’t wait to get my hands on another.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2006 Bottle conditioned from Decaigny, Essen. This x-mas beer poors blond to orange coulered with a magnificent whipped cream head which lasts and lasts and lasts. The lacing is very beautiful and first some malty aromas break free with a hint of mint. The taste is slightly malty and fully fruity from oranges over peaches to apricots. Very easy drinking despite the high alcohol volume which is well hidden. The aftertaste is rather hoppy and somewhat spicy. Full bodied and very well balanced.

330 ml bottle thanks to sk8viking. Orange pour with huge fluffy almost white head. Aroams of sweet bread, white cupcake, vanilla, light fruit. Flavors very similar with more vanilla and citrus fruit. More sweet bread dough. Then the alcohol warming comes in strong in the finish. Very very good.

Hazy yellow body with a thin white head on top. The aroma is of sweet caramel, citrus zest and peppery spices. The mouthfeel is very nice for a tripel--full and creamy really. Nice flavor with more sweetness than expected. Great mix of citrus, spices, bread, yeast and that nice sweetness.

Murky golden-orange in colour, lingering medium sized white coloured head, some lacing. The aroma was quite yeasty, lots of citrus, apples, light perfume, spice. The flavour was of candied sugar, some yeast, lots of apples, some orange citrus, light spice. Incredibly smooth mouthfeel, medium body, soft carbonation. Finishes long, sugary sweet, very light alcohol. Incredible stuff, so smooth, great sweetness, an excellent Christmas beer.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2016 Vintage 2015. Really fresh and wonderful this year. Fresh strawberry, slight vinious. Upgraded from 4,1 to 4,3. Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph. [Vintage 2006] Pours a light hazy orange-yellow with a small creamy lightly off white head. Good lacing on my glass. Aroma is absolutely fantastic! Caramel, clementines, apricot, apples, nutmeg, ginger and lots of toffee. Great mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly fruity tart with oranges, clementines, coriander, nutmeg, toffee. There is a clear vinious edge to it as well as a clear, bright bitterness. Wonderfully complex tripel - I should certainly buy a few for cellaring!

330mL bottle, best by 09/10. Pours cloudy orange golden with a substantial ivory head. Complex aroma, with notes of citrus fruit (mainly orange), herbs, spice and and yeast. Nice sweet-tart flavor - yeast and wheat up front are soon joined fruity apricot flavor and herbal nuances. Long, wheaty finish with some spice. This was delicious and very drinkable.
