Beer4000 (4405) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2013
Sampled @ Haand 2013. Unclear, dark golden body with a tan head. Strong and pleasant aroma of dry fruit, malt and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, dry fruit, Belgium yeast, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Full body and good aftertaste. Quite heavy but so balanced that it becomes dangerous easy to drink. At least at the stage where I sampled this at Haand festival.

Poured a cloudy dark chestnut colour with a very thin off white glass hugging head. The aroma is rich fruity and alcoholic. The flavour is yeasty bitter with red fruits and liqourice. For such a strong beer, the palate is surprisingly smooth.
