(draught) pours a hazy copper-amber colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of coconut, powdered sugar, chestnuts, bubble gum, brown sugar and caramelized banana. flavour is quite sweet, with lots of caramel and toffee, some treebark, more banana and light alcohol in the finish. heavy-bodied with soft carbonation.

Countbeer (4367) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 30, 2013
Bottle: Medium sized quickly changed creamy beige thick lacing on top of a deep dark murky brown colored beer. Aromas of cream, barleys, fruit, apricot and peach, grains. Flavours of spices, bitters, cream, fruit, apricot, peach, light alcohol, yeast. Aftertaste is fruity, creamy, grainy and some barley malts. Low carbo, soft silky creamy mouthfeel, full body and a thick close to sticky and creamy texture. Bit like a barley wine... But not strong or hoppy... Anyways, fine beer.

On tap at CPK, London. Struise tap takeover event. It pours a deep dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is deep and complex, mostly sweet with dark fruits and molasses. Little rye presence. Taste is again very sweet and syrupy with molasse and figs, raisins and other dark fruits. Full bodied with good carbonation. Overall, I would expect something more dry from a rye tripel, this was more similar to a quad to me. Still a very good beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an amber red with a small white head and an aroma of yeast, herbs, citrus fruits, toffee and rye-bread. The taste is sweet with herbal notes and the body seems a bit heavier than your average triple. Pretty nice beer.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet. Pours unclear dark amber with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma is malty caramel, weak fruit. Taste is moderate sweet, dusty and cellarish malts, light burning alcohol at the end, not the normal Struise complexity here, still a decent beer.
