Aroma of lemons, tart wheat notes, floral, a touch of sourness, tropical fruits, pear and green apple. Flavor of apple juice, tart wheat, some funk, orange peel, various spices and a little thin. Appaligies carlo! cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Apr 17, 2008 Bottle at home ... Golden yellow ... little fruit... Belgian yeast ... little tart ...little acidity... quite fizzy HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Apr 11, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Slightly hazy amber with a large, lasting white frothy head. Aroma of yeast, coriander, tangerine and sweet malt. Very sweet taste, mild sweet spice and light citrus acidity. Watery, mildly carbonated body, light acidity and a quick finish. Tasty, a little soft. Boutip (2335), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Apr 11, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Bu11zeye: Poured a hazy light yellow color ale with a big foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of coriander and wheat is refreshing. Taste is a mix between some coriander, orange peel and a potent wheat malt profile. This beer has load of carbonation with almost a spritzer-like feel to it and a full body with minimal filtration. Very refreshing beer overall but a more accentuated spice profile with bigger malt would have been awesome.
