Jan 1, 2008 Bottle: Straw colored, slight haze, moderate frothy white head, few rings of lacing, light carbonation. Very dull pale fruit on
the nose. Muted citrus. Starts out dry and tart, a little puckering. Minor wheatiness, but lacks the spices one associates
with the style. Very dull overall. Moderate body and mouthfeel, at best. Tiz a bit spritzy on the tongue. Finishes
rather boringly. Very lacking, and certainly not what I expected from Struise.

Dec 31, 2007 Massive head atop, a dark, hazy straw. Very highly carbonated, quite exciting visually to watch the activity in the glass. Aroma of yeast, citrus, even a little smoke. Nicely balanced flavor, lemon finish.

Dec 27, 2007 Clear golden pour with a good size white head. Citrus and some fruits. Lots of carbonation with hints of citrus and yeast. Thin mouth feel with a dry finish.

Dec 24, 2007 bottle. Pours hazy golden with a thick white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat and some spices and floral notes. Flavor is wheat, coriander, and orange, with some herbal, earthy notes. Finishes dry. Good wit, but not as groundbreaking as the other Struise beers I’ve tried.

Dec 12, 2007 Bottle from theisti. Pours a very hazy straw color with a thick foamy head with frothy lacing. Nose is fresh lemons and a little yeast. Taste is a very crisp lemon twang mixed with yeast and carbonation. Drying finish. This beer really reminds me of a weak lambic/gauze beer in terms of mouthfeel. Seems a bit over carbonated for a Wit...but I really enjoyed this beer. Thanks Tim.
