Odd look for a Wit, the body only slightly hazed, golden, a short fizzy head. The aroma is light, tart and lemony with a soft touch of spices. It’s quite crisp with a snappy finish. It has a tart wheaty/lemony taste reminiscent of a Berliner Weiss, but the addition of light spicing says differently. Refreshing and different for the style.

Bottled. Very true to the Belgian wit style, sourish adge. Some fruitiness, but not very flavourful. Too thin.

Light but very foggy pour with a relentless head for a Wit. Outstanding aroma is very citrusy, particularly orangey and a strange malty/sugar scent with some grassy tones as well. Flavor is pleasantly light with hints of coriander and other spice, but is mainly a very sweet malt flavor. There is still a citrusy flavor, but it was more lemon than orange...odd but very good. Main drawback is that this was way too drinkable for the very high price....

(Bottle) Pours a hazy blond body with a medium white head. Flavor of grass, citrus, and herbs. Flavor of lemon, orange, light coriander and wheat with a subtle sourness and then bitterness than lingers into the finish.

11.2oz, lot B 4 BB. Hazy pale golden with a small white head that fades to a film. This one has a little bit different of an aroma. There is some citrus, light artificial banana, something bordering a rotten tang, light funk and sugary butter, if that makes sense. Flavor is a good amount more tart with some unfortunate paper wet paper oxidation, though I’m not sure if I’m mistaken since no one else has brought that up. Not so much funk or anything with a rotten tang. Wheaty finish. Lots of carbonation with a light body. Maybe I missed the point with this one.

Bottle poured a cloudy yellow with a large lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, citrus and a subtle hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of citrus, wheat and light yeast with a crisp citrusy finish.

Pours light copper / orange with a thick white head. The aroma is subdued and a bit smooth. The citrus is not sharp at all and the spice(s) used seem different than the normal coriander. Unfortunately I can’t place what it is, but it is enjoyable. Medium / thin body that is ultra crisp and has appropriately sharp carbonation. The flavors starts off with semi-sharp sour citrus and moderately sweet wheat. The finish has a very clear citrus flavor that combines flavors of lemon, orange and grapefruit. There are some spices lingering in the back, but the citrus takes a front seat. A great well crafted wit.
