3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jerc (5444) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 14, 2008
2008-03-03. Golden yellow body with a small white head. Very mild aroma, lightly yeasty (6+). Flavour shows a surprising amount of alcohol for a 5% abv brew. Light yeast, very mild hints at citrus. (6+) Average palate is smooth and wheat beer like (3+). Pleasant, but just okay. Bottle at Cambrinus, Brugge
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Stine (1398) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - MAR 8, 2008
Poured from an 11.2 oz. bottle. Transparent, gold color. Apple juice, with french toast, butterscotch and maple in the aroma; rather strong in sweetness with a comparatively quiet presence of tartness. Very doughy and syrupy. Sharp flavor of brisk green spices and agave, vanilla, and cardamom, with lots of buttery sweetness reappearing toward the finish. Crisp, tart palate that’s a little more full than the typical example; finishes with a bit of vinegar, more sweet butter and apple. Lacking in usual qualities, but still refreshing and fairly interesting.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tytoanderso (1476) - SLP, Minnesota, USA - MAR 8, 2008
11.2 oz bottle. Odd aroma. Bananas, rubber and alcohol. Quite dry with a touch of dust and agave. Pours light, slightly unclear gold. with minimal head. Highly carbonated. Notes of lavender, soap, rubber, agave, dusty yeast. Odd. Plenty of carbonation with lingering residual soapiness coating my tongue.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 hellomynameis (867) - Mayer, Minnesota, USA - MAR 8, 2008
Light golden with nary a head. Light wet aroma of mild wheat. Fizzy palate, maybe a bit over-carbonated. Nice tasting wit, a bit interesting. I’m finidng it difficult to pull out the flavours over the carbonation. Very nice, however. Would be perfect in the summer.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pantanap (2728) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 8, 2008
bottle from wlv.... pours a clear golden light yellow brown with a thin soapy white head.... aroma of sweet banana and bandaid notes and soft spice.... flavors of an atfirst spritzy body that quickly becomes somewhat sour/citrusy notes which then suddenly deadens.... can’t say i’m much of a fan of this one. it reminded me of a very light cider with sour/sweet notes.

not a white beer as such. Lemon and citrus are present. Refreshing. But more a good pils than a good white beer. Did not fulfill its expectations...
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jehoey (765) - Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 26, 2008
Poured a hazy gold with a rich white head. Aroma is Struise yeast, slightly spicy and sour. I think the yeast is a little powerful for a delicate beer like a witte. I couldn’t really pick out any coriander or citrus. This made this beer a slight disappointment. The body was also a little bit heavy, although it was well carbonated. I good beer, but not quite what I was expecting.

33cl bottle. Best before 4/08-I would have hated to taste this AFTER 4/08. This beer had a funky, stale, sulfuric odor. Taste is about as bad-just tastes like an old, bad, skunked beer. No taste of wheat in this beer. Drain pour. Hoping this is just a bad bottle.
