4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 77ships (744) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 23, 2011
bottle@home: pours a really hazy straw yellow, small white head, smells strongly of wheat, yeast, some spices & lemon peel, tastes strongly of wheat (but a very smooth taste, not grainy or anything, very enjoyable, tastes like a wheat field, not watery like I have found some other beers in this style to be) followed by soft spices, soft lemon zest, grass, slightly bitter finish, light to medium bodied, crisp, refreshing & very clean (unified taste without anything jumping out to much), made me like a beer from a style by which I tend to be turned off, simple but very charming, tasted very old fashioned, felt like I was drinking a 19th century beer
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 dantheman278 (743) - SCOTLAND - MAR 17, 2011
Bottle at BrewDog Edinburgh. Clear, watery yellow with amber highlights. Thin, bubbly head. Light bubblegum, wheat and spicy cloves aroma. Taste is surprisingly bitter, light wheatiness, medium carbonation. Some astringency, lager-like bitter aftertaste. Refreshing but a bit thin.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BelgBeerGeek (824) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 19, 2011
head: white, bubbly/creamy
colour: white, light egg yellow, hazy
smell: flowery perfume, wheats, bit of vanilla/sweetness, overall a bit bitter and yeasty
taste: start is somewhere between flowery and malty , some oranges and citric peels come in , then a pretty intense wheat flavour comes in and all of a sudden the beer collaps into a irony , dry/bitter taste, end is dry aftertaste is skunky , not bad ..

Bottle 33cl. Color: clear gold (pils) with a white head. Aroma: Concentrated lemon juice (sour), touches of grass, malty. Taste: citrus, a slightly disturbing taste of detergent. Aftertaste is bitter. Mouthfeel is watery. Powerful white beer, but maybe a little to much.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 erickok (802) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2010
Clear yellow pilsner look. Yeast, some citrus. Hops here as well. Like this aroma better than the usual witbier. Very refreshing, a bit of an unusual bitter taste. Maybe soapy but not bad at all. Belgian whites aren’t my favourite, but I like this nice twist.
