At Struise store in Bruges. Dark, Caramel Pour. Aroma of prune and a bit of alcohol. The beer is rich is density, based on the Rye. Cloudy and thick. However, the Trippel cannot contain the alcohol, as the vanilla an coconut work to the front. The idea is brilliant, the execution is good- not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours nut brown, red with no head. Nose is nuts, alcohol, malt, some bourbon notes. Mouthfeel is amazing on this one, feels thick but drinks away nicely. Taste is malty, caramel, dark fruit, bourbon notes again. Great one from Struise. Usually I’m only a fan of their stouts, but damn this is a winner.

Grandma fruit jam and sweet golden raisins. Too sweet, but could be more complex and with no "extra"
