Bottle, Geers. Pours dark copper/brown. Small head. Ester nose, banana, brown sugar & pancakes. Huge banana aroma, lots of alcohol & warmth. Overwhelming actually.

In bottle (vintage 2013); pours a hazy brown color. Aroma quite sweet ... taste was of candied fruit, somewhat creamy .. a nice beer. I quite enjoyed this one, though the 12% stopped to take over at the end.

Bottle from Geers. Rich mahogany pour with thin veil of off cream colored foam. Aroma is rich, lots of boozy fruits, plums, walnuts, candied fruit, light toasty aroma. Taste is sweet, toasty with rather well hidden alcohol behind a lot of toasty caramel and fruity sweet goodness. Palate is rich, full bodied with good carbonation. Nice.

Drank 18-8 while Facebook-messaging. Smell is similar to Alesmith grand cru (alcohol, barrel-agnedness, sweet/bourbon). Really soft, sweet beer. Nice quadrupel. Bourbon taste is very nice and very present. Like this beer. Aftertaste is dominated by alcohol.

Shared with Wim and Bart at Wim’s place. Clear amber colored beer with small white head and medium carbonation. Fruited malty chocolate aroma. Medium sparkling and creamy palate. Finish is hopped sweet bitter slight dry and bit alcoholic. Nice one!

33 cl. bottle poured in to a Trappist glass. Lovely, deep amber-golden colour with a small, dense white head. Sweet aroma with rich caramel malts, green apples, plums - ripe fruits. A slight hint of booze. Some syrup. A bit restrained. Taste is heavy sweet. Full body with a lively carbonation that is a bit disturbing to my palate. Cuts to much of the richness. Finishes sweet and fruity with some warmth from the alcohol. Okay Quadrupel - However, I had higher expectations to a beer from Struise.

33cl bottle Appearance: Hazy dark brown with a 1,5 finger sized creamy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace of lacing. Aroma: Sweet Fruit (Pears, Plums), bread, alcohol Taste:Follows the aroma sweet fruity, maly, light alcoholic with not much bitterness. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, medium to full body, below average carbonation.

Dark amber, cocacolaish with nice head. Aroma dark fruits, alcohol. Taste; sweet dark fruits, candy sugar, malty, notable alcohol. Full body, smooth, low carb, finish alcohol, dark fruits. Reminds of La Trappe quadruple.

Bottle. Dark amber with medium size dense pale brown head. Aroma a little weak, dried fruits and some alcohol. Taste dried fruits, sweet malts, raisins, bananas. The lack in aroma costs this beer a few points overall, otherwise nice-
