3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton. Snifter. Deep reddish brown pour with a serious white fluffy head. Aroma of cherries, wine cask, tart fruits, and spice. The taste was more mild than I expected with semi-tart cherries, slight sweetness, a light malt and hop base, and some spice. Very light body, small carbonation. Finish is tart cherries as well. Good beer but it could be better. Wish it was more tart.

(Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, 10 Jan 2014) Dark brown colour with frothy, brown head. Fruity, sourish nose with caramel, brown sugar, dark fruit, prunes and a certain balsamic vinegar acidity. Malty, fruity, tart taste with notes of balsamic vinegar, dried fruit, vanilla and caramel. Fairly dry finish with a balanced vinegar acidity. Medium body. Fresh, tasty and well balanced sour ale. Nice one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared a 50cl bottle [2010 on the label] from a friend. Pours a reddish brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, chocolate and sour. Low to average carbonation and full to medium body. Taste is quite complex coming from medium bitter to light sour with some sweet notes always present. Overall, a very good beer that I wish to drink again... And I will!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled from 0,5 l bottle. Pours a clear ruby-hued dark brown body, under a dense mid-sized ash blond head. Nice sour-acdic fruit nose. Light vinous with a whiff of vinegar. Full body. Dry on the palate with an underlying malt- sweetness. Taste is complex. Caramel, dark dried fruits, choolate, ash, port, red berries, held together with nice acidic sourness. Really good!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Haand Festival. An almost clear one, brown in color and tapped by a dark beige head of finger thick size. The aroma has dried fruis, prunes mostly, with cherry, some chocolate notes and a whiff of sourness and vinegar. It’s full-bodied and semi-dry, with a tad too much carbonation. There’s some caramel in the flavor, but only hints, else it’s pretty much like the aroma except there’s more fruityness, especially fresh fruits. A nice one indeed, sour but not overly sour, and quite complex as well. 130525
