Bottle, 7%. Gusher! Refreshing, citric raisin aroma. Cloudy red brown colour. Small fizzy tan head. The flavour is citric with a good raisin note and a little metal. High carbonation. The mouthfeel is quite thin. Good acetic sour rag sourness in the finish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark ruby / copper brown with airy but rather stable light beige head. Clear, vinous aroma, with notes of fruit and yeast. Vinous flavour, with estery and fruity notes and touches of barrel. Bitter hints of hops. Lively carbonation. Vinous afteraste with traces of roast. Nice. #3100.

Bottle courtesy of Alex. Thanks! This was a gusher. Pours dark brown color with off white head. Aroma is slight vinegar with some notes of oxidized wine and a touch of booze. Medium mouthfeel. The taste of this beer is outstanding. You get the flanders red notes in there. Then there are hints of wine barrel and a touch of whiskey mixed in just right. Awesome brew.

Säuerlich malziger, deutlich brotiger Antrunk. Ab dem Mittelteil fruchtiger, wenig sauer, vergleichsweise süffig. Gut! 11/11/11/11/8/11

Er zijn oudbruins die ik graag drink, alhoewel ik normaal geen grote fan van dit soort ben, maar deze vond ik niet zo lekker

500 ml bottle, vintage 2010, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Dark brown colour, enormous off-white head, takes a long time to subside. Strong aroma of red wine vinegar and oak, notes of farmhouse. Medium sour flavour, notes of red wine vinegar, red wine, lemons and oak.

Huge foam head that disappeared quite fast. Color is brown/ruby red. Aroma of red berries, oak, vinegar, tannins. Highly carbonated (almost exploded out of the bottle). Mouthfeel is quite thin to medium with a prickly carbonation. Flavour is red berries, oak, vanilla, lingonberries, sour, vinegar, malts, with a dry, slightly puckering finish. First "true" rating here on ratebeer cause I felt the beer deserved it.

Draft at Edmunds Oast. Deep mahogany pour with red highlights and a bubbly white head. Nose presents dark stone fruits, cherry, raspberry, plums, tannic oak, vanilla, lactic acid and yeast funk. Flavor is very similar and wonderfully blended with great carbonation and mouthfeel. Drying sour finish. Really solid stuff.
